Alternatives to Coffee: Chai Tea

Alternatives to Coffee: Chai Tea

I brought up chai tea because well, to be honest, it would be criminal if I didn't. Unlike other teas like simple black tea, green tea or rooibos (a favourite of mine๐Ÿ˜‹) Chai tea packs a heaping serving of flavour. The spices in chai tea makes it easily very rich in not only flavour but antioxidants. Yes, coffee has some antioxidants as well and is definitely not flavourless but what makes chai tea comparable is that on those fronts, at least, it reigns champion ๐Ÿ†.

But what about the caffeine? Although chai tea doesn't have as much caffeine as Coffee, just like matcha tea, it does give amore steady and sustained level of energy that won't leave one's nervous system triggered from the anxiety-inducing effects of caffeine. For those of you often victimised by them, this might be for you ๐Ÿ˜‰.

The black tea in chai and the spices ion chai come together to create a wealthy blend of antioxidants and nutrition that together promote health and wellbeing. What's more is that chai tea has been used for hundreds and hundreds of years for these very benefits. The spices are appreciated even more for their mentally clarifying, calming, and energizing effects; the perfect remedy for the prevalent stresses of us modern-day people. ย

Let's take Cinnamon, for example, it is known for its important function in the peripheral nervous system as it helps increase blood flow, perspiration and helps reduce fatigue. Cardamom is a mood elevator, boosts heart health and improve health function, anti-inflammatory and detoxifying effects. Cloves help ease digestion, especially with the digestion of heavy foods and ginger that has nausea reducing effects. Then there are cloves that have pain relieving properties and, when paired with other herbal blends like, i don't know,...CHAI, it helps increase their potency.

One of these preferred remedies is cloves. For centuries, cloves have been used as a pain relief technique. Historically, treatments called for inserting the clove into an infected tooth or cavity. They contain an active ingredient that numbs the skin it touches, which may provide temporary relief from the toothache. Today, instead of grinding cloves, we use clove oil. Clove oil is the extracted, concentrated product from the plant.

Do I need to convince you more on this one. With its overwhelming health benefits that helps almost every part of the body, even teeth, Chai tea is like medicine in tea form. It promotes vitality and health. A wonderful; concoction that gives you the internal immunity boost, caffeine as well as the peace ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ.
