"Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account" Hebrews 4:13

In addition to the below,

"But now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him ruler of his people, because you have not kept the Lord’s command" Samuel 13:14

Over the March series, we will touch on a few leaders that God chose, and discover  some key similarities between them. Starting off with David.

"So he asked Jesse, “Are these all the sons you have?”There is still the youngest,” Jesse answered. “He is tending the sheep.”Samuel said, “Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives" 1 Samuel 16:11

David and Saul represent a perfect example of why God focusses on the heart.

"After removing Saul, he made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do." Acts 13:22
"Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always" 1 Chronicles 16:11
